BOTERO, alabaster spheres and fixed metal structure
Botero is a unique piece, and one which visually defies gravity. Lightweight and vertically mounted- the horizontal rods contrast this vertical axis to give an impression of expanded space, punctuated by alabaster spheres.
The Botero collection is available in two models consisting of six alabaster spheres mounted on a metal structure.
Botero 36: 6 spheres of 24, 28, and 36 cm
Botero 50: 6 spheres of 24, 28, 32, and 50 cm
The metal structure is available in the following finishes: white, black, antique gold, gold, gold chrome, and polished mirror.
This design can be further customized by the further addition of spheres placed about the central axis. Additionally, Boteros may be combined to create an exceptional chandelier.
Stephanie Coutas (1001 Maisons) commissioned this exceptional chandelier for a Saudi Arabian palace. Stephanie, a world-renown interior designer, uses only the finest materials in her work, and holds a particular affection for alabaster. As a result, her works are consistently surprising and iconoclast.
