THE HISTORY OF ALAIN ELLOUZ PARIS
1995 – Self-taught entrepreneur and passionate sculptor Alain Ellouz discovers alabaster.
2005 – He takes on the challenge of giving alabaster a contemporary identity, collaborating with designer Marion Biais-Sauvêtre to merge creative intuition, aesthetic excellence, and technical innovation.
2007 – The atelier gains international recognition, executing increasingly monumental luxury projects.
2011 – Alain Ellouz explores the artistic and architectural potential of rock crystal, expanding the brand’s creative universe.
2013 – The Alain Ellouz Workshop relocates to new, larger facilities in Paris.
2018 – Opening of the Soho showroom in New York, at the heart of the global design epicenter.
2021 – Inauguration of the first Alain Ellouz Atelier showroom, housed in an architectural landmark in the Bièvres Valley, just outside Paris.
March 2022 – Creation of the Alain Ellouz Foundation for Alabaster, dedicated to promoting alabaster on the international art scene. Designers and artists explore the infinite possibilities of this exceptional stone, bringing forth original and powerful works.
September 2023 – Opening of the Alain Ellouz Gallery in Paris, dedicated to alabaster design and fine art.
September 2024 – The small workshop of the early 2000s has evolved into a prestigious luxury brand with global renown. The Maison Atelier Alain Ellouz officially becomes Alain Ellouz Paris.
March 2025 – Grand opening of the Alain Ellouz Paris showroom in New York’s Tribeca district, marking a new chapter in the brand’s expansion.
