A PASSION SCULPTED IN ALABASTER
Driven by his passion for art and raw materials, Alain Ellouz has made alabaster his signature medium. In 2005, he founded Alain Ellouz Paris, a company dedicated to this singular stone. By 2021, he refocused his research on art, unveiling his first monumental sculptures and Pixels d’albâtre, an homage to alabaster quarries. For his debut exhibition, Chevauchées sur Fragments d’Albâtre, he expanded upon his Pixels d’albâtre series while pioneering the concept of alabaster canvas, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.
