Sofitel Le Louise
The Sofitel hotel in Brussels, which we worked on in 2008, forms something of a benchmark for our workshop. Fifteen table legs were hand-turned out of alabaster blocks. The bar, more than ten metres long, extends outwards like a majestic ship. The architect’s demanding design, with its sides in sloping sections and its very rounded corners enabled us to demonstrate the potentialities of alabaster and of our skills.
