Chaumet, the great French jewelry house, adopts alabaster to sublimate its creations in its boutiques around the world. The alabaster elements created by Patricia Grosdemange echo the story of Chaumet creations’ precious stones. The GEMME is a real sculpture in solid alabaster. Like a genuine pebble, it becomes a display case that showcases the quintessence of the boutique’s jewelry. Weeds painted in gold are engraved on alabaster panels. Curved in the breeze, they inspire ephemerality and lightness. An ode to the work of nature, patient and alive, in a different temporality.
