Hôtel drouot – auction room

For its large exhibition room, the very famous Drouot auction house, entrusted its architect Hervé Correale with the mission of a permanent and luminous work by the artist Erwan Boulloud. Alabaster was chosen for its qualities of transparency and prominence. In the dynamic shape creating a false perspective with games of complex forms, the alabaster emphasizes the rhythms. This unique suspended backlit alabaster ceiling opens the space of the most beautiful room of Drouot.
